Time the passage. Rest by your own multiplier.
Time a passage of any length. BrassPause uses that measured time and your chosen multiplier to set the next rest target, then counts the rest.

The loop
The multiplier is your preference, not our advice. Choose one of the presets or set your own. Pause and resume freeze either phase, and paused time counts as neither playing nor rest.
Your sessions stay on the phone
Finish a session and BrassPause saves it on your device: the date, an optional label, your played and rested totals, and each passage with its target and the rest you took. Open one to see the passages, share a plain text summary through the iOS share sheet, or delete it.
